I’m a PhD-trained AI researcher and Research Software Engineer with a background in Computer Engineering and experience spanning both academia and industry. My work focuses on the design, optimisation, and deployment of advanced AI systems across computer vision, LLMs, VLMs, Generative AI, and efficient machine learning, with an emphasis on bridging rigorous research and production-grade engineering.
My research at Queen Mary University of London has explored convolutional, transformer-based, and generative models for complex multimodal and vision-language tasks, including 3D object detection and efficient AI systems for real-world use. I have also worked extensively on scalable research software, distributed ML infrastructure, CUDA-based optimisation, and high-performance computing for demanding AI workloads.
Alongside research and engineering, I have supervised Master’s and undergraduate students across AI, machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI projects, while contributing to teaching, mentorship, and technically rigorous academic practice. I am particularly motivated by opportunities to build intelligent systems that combine scientific depth, strong engineering execution, and meaningful practical impact.
